HARRISBURG - Two hundred
fifty dealers and guests attended
the Seedway, Inc. third annual
dealer meeting of the York, PA,
division, held Aug. 22, 1986 at the
Harrisburg Sheraton, West Shore.
Dealers attended from Penn
sylvania, New Jersey, Maryland,
Delaware, Virginia and" West
Virginia. Gene Hohl, York Division
marketing manager, was master
of ceremonies for the program
which introduced new seed
varieties and provided information
on a wide selection of seed com,
small grain, grass seed and allied
products sold by Seedway dealers.
Seedway.is a diversified regional
marketer of Asgros/O’s Gold and
Eastland/Todd brand seed.
Former Eastland seed dealers
joined the York division dealer
group for the first time. On July 1,
1986, the company moved sales
offices for former Eastland

dealers to sell the complete
Seedway product line in their sales
territories.
The Company’s Emmaus
operations will continue to operate
as a seed production and con
ditioning facility for the company
as a whole. Sales and marketing
activities for all the company’s
dealers south of Pennsylvania
Interstate 80 will be co-ordinated
from the York offices.
Highlighting activities at the
meeting was the presentation of
awards for outstanding sales
achievement during the past year.
GETTYSBURG - Cattlemen
interested in attending an Eastern
event with a Western flavor may

Weekend at the Gettysburg
Sheraton Inn, Oct. 24 and 25.
Sponsored by the Northeast
Texas Longhorn Association, the
event includes a Saturday seminar
by Darol Dickinson of Dickinson
Ranch, Calhan, Colorado.
The organization’s board of
directors will meet Saturday af
ternoon, and a cattlemen’s
banquet is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Saturday evening.
A number of Longhorn cattle,
including ‘.‘Magic Marker,” a well
known bull owned by Don and
Vivian Neidigh of Fredericksburg,
will be on display.
