Niebauer Family Dominates Cambria Livestock Shows
BY MARGIE FUSCO
Cambria Co. Correspondent
EBENSBURG - Winning is aU
in the family with the Niebauers.
The children of Jerry and Paul
Niebauer, brothers of RD 1
Ebensburg, in Cambria County,
enjoyed some friendly competition
at the Cambria County Fair and
came away with most of the
livestock honors.
Jerry’s twins Tina and Todd, age
14, came away the big winners.
Tina’s 1,220-pound Angus steer
took the grand champion rosette in
both the Baby Beef and Cloverleaf
County-Bred steer competitions.
Todd rounded out the field with the
grand champion trophies for swine
and lamb. Tina was also named
champion showman and fitter in
the Baby Beef show, and Todd was
named champion showman in the
swine judging.
To round out the honors, younger
brother Matt, age 10, took home his
share of ribbons in steer and swine
competition and was named
reserve champion showman and
fitter in the swine judging. And not
to be outdone by his children, Jerry
got serious about the parents’
Missy Steinman and her Cloverleaf reserve champion.
