These new Patz conveyors feed up to six lots and deliver on
either side of the feeder.
HINSDALE, IL. - Hay is loaded into a semi-truck for
shipment to Bishopville, SC. The hay, donated by J I Case,
manufacturer of Case IH agricultural equipment, was grown
on land surrounding the company's Test Center in Hinsdale.
The company-owned truck will take the hay to Interstate
Tractor Company, the Case IH dealer in Bishopville, for
distribution to farmers who have been affected by severe
drought conditions. The hay lift is the third such effort
supported by Case IH during the summer months. Hay from
Joy, IL, near the Quad Cities, was shipped to farmers in
North Carolina, and hay from Walworth County, Wl, was
shipped to farmers in the Montgomery, AL, area

carts.
The 16-inch concave belt conveys
up to 62 cubic feet (or up to 2,000
pounds) of feed per minute. Select
a smooth belt for horizontal con
veying and slight incliqgs. Select a
textured belt for inclines up to 30
degrees.
Hay Loaded
Feed up to six lots different
rations, including delivery on
either side of the feeder. A solid

reliability. Simple wiring in
t control panel also increases

An optional adjustable elbow
allows for conveying up an incline
and then level. The choice of end
drive or central drive increases

Used carbon steel storage tanks which we
have removed the end (heads). Lifting lugs
attached. No coating. These tank shells make an inexpensive, quick and
strong bridge. Tank shells buried with 3 feet of ground cover can
support 80,000 lbs.
