Slaughter steers and heifers
closed this week steady to 50 cents
lower than last week’s closing
levels. Trading was marked by
good buyer demand throughout the
week. Dressed beef and boxed beef
price declines prompting buyers to
be bearish in their bidding but
seller resistance to sharply lower
bids was evident as some recovery
was noted on Wednesday.
