Reports from three sales for the
week of July 30 to August 7 showed
147 head averaging $1,650. These
sales were held in Washington,
Virginia and Canada. The top
prices at the sales ranged from
$22,000 to $1,650. Here is a brief
look at the results of these sales.
BROWN SWISS
The VISIONS OF VIRGINIA
SALE averaged $702.14 on 35 head.
The highest bid of the day was
$1,650 on a Chi-A-Will Beauty King
daughter. This 3-year-old cow
classified at 84 points and has a
LEAS IN
with every
building
Ipurcheted
high record of 11,900 pounds of
milk and 480 pounds of fat. Her
dam, classified at 86 points, has a
top record of 18,450 pounds of milk
and 740 pounds of fat.
The high bred heifer sold for
$1,175. She is due in September
with a UW Cora Beau Dapper Don-
Twin calf. Her sire, Top Acres
Elegant Simon, is a young bull
which recently came out with a
plus proof. Her dam is classified
VG-65 and has a top record of
14,440 pounds of milk with a 4.5
test.

heifer by Welcome Choice Ad
miral. Selling for $5,950, she has a
full brother in AI. Her dam, a
Olympic View B Maverick
daughter has two records over
23,000 pounds of milk and 1,000
pounds of fat.
Doug Wilson was the auctioneer
and Mike Lancaster was the sale
manager.

GUERNSEY
The OLYMPIC VIEW IN
VITATIONAL SALE, held in
Washington, averaged $3,055 on 30
head. Topping the sale, with a
price of $17,000, was a 3-year-old
Telestar daughter that sold with
eight future ET-pregnancies. The
cow has a top record of 17,400
pounds of milk and 830 pounds of
fat. A third generation Excellent,
her dam has two records over
30,000 pounds of milk and 1,500
pounds of fat.
