on bulk sales, however closing
levels were steady. Feeder heifers
steady to 1.00 higher. Slaughter
cows 1.00 lower except for canner
and low-cutter which sold 50-1.00
higher. Slaughter bulls steady to 50
cents lower. Receipts this week
near 22,800 head; last weeks count
23,531; last years number 11,567.
Feeder steers and heifers made
up 94% of run; cows and bulls 6%.
