steers steady to firm. Slaughter
heifers 1.50 higher. Cows and bulls
closed generally steady. Bulk of
receipts Monday with not enough
later in the week to adequately test
the market. Supply mainly good to
average choice slaughter steers
and heifers with 10% cows.
Estimated 5 day receipts 1700,
compared with actual receipts of
2091 last week and 1809 a year ago.
