Trade sentiment was steady to fully steady on large and extra large; only about steady on mediums. Cartoned egg orders are lighter compared to early week in some quarters but still fair to good and generally best where retail featuring is in place. Supplies ot large were adequate at most points; extra large were adequate to occasionally short. Mediums were in irregular distribution but where available easily satisfied trade needs. Nest runs remained no more than adequate on yield of large and heavier sizes; adequate to ample on the lighter sizes. Prices to retailers: sales to volume buyers, consumer grades white eggs in cartons delivered store door; A Extra large 64-70; A Large 62-68; A Medium 46-48%. per Delmarva Poultry Thursday, July 10,1986 Market Comment: Deman for ready to cook whole birds was mixed but no better than fair overall. Offerings were in balance to fully adequate. Demand for cutlets was generally good; rib-on breast fair to good. Legs and leg quarters were attracting feature interest for next week but generally remained available. Wings were clearing best in most quarters. Less than trucklot asking prices were mostly unchanged to one cent lower at 66-74 cents. Live supplies were mostly moderate at desirable to light weights, and local weather conditions were more favorable on production today. Slaughter schedules were moderate.
