Bush Hog division of Allied Products Corp. has recently
released the model SQB4R Rotary Cutter. This addition to
the popular Squealer line of inexpensive rotary cutters
gives a full seven foot cutting width in a machine that is
offset nine inches to the right. The two spindle design
allows this compact cutter to be handled by smaller
tractors than are normally required for seven foot cutters
of single spindle design. The offset feature enables the
operator to mow under fences and other hard to get areas.

Model 8500 handles a wide variety
of seeds including wheat, barley,
oats, rapeseed and soybeans. The
150-bushel capacity central hopper
offers the options of seeding,
fertilizing or both during a single
pass, enhancing speed and
operator convenience. The Model
8500 is available with a choice of 7-
inch, 10-inch and 12-inch opener
spacing

Seed flows from the central
hopper into large all-metal feed
cups which are similar to those
found on conventional Case IH
drills. Each drill has a maximum
of seven feed cups which feature
fluted feed rolls and exclusive
tapered metering edges for precise
metering accuracy.
From the feed cups, the seed
flows to a venturi where it com
bines with air and is carried to
unique "dimpled” standpipes
which accurately distribute the
seed to each opener.
