This is actually more valuable to growth of your tobacco crop than a direct application of Nitrogen. If you did not treat your ground for aphids you should prepare to spray for them around the beginning of July. If you did treat your ground you should still prepare to spray around middle of July. If you wait until you have an aphid problem you are too late. The two procedures above will promote good pest free growth and will help lead to good quality green-free tobacco.
