Huntingdon County Holstein Club

the slate of officers for the Hun
tingdon County Holstein Club is
Galen Baney, Petersburg,
president; Max Isenberg,
Alexandria, vice-president; Harry
Gensimore, Tyrone, secretary
treasurer; and R. Wayne Harp
ster, Pennsylvania Furnace, state
director.
Scheduled for June, in addition
to the regular dairy promotions, is
the annual club picnic.
The club is also sponsoring a
junior judging school in con
junction with the state association.
Participants in the school will dine
on the Queen Bell as it takes trips
on Lake Racetown.
They will be helping with the
Holstein Championship show on
August 16 at the Huntingdon
County Fairgrounds, and spon
soring the Huntingdon County
Black and White show.
Six, six-by-eight signs have been
erected by the club. These signs
promote Holsteins and dairy
products and have been
strategically located on the major
roads in Huntingdon County.
Among the improvements
sponsored by the club at the
Huntingdon Fairgrounds are:
bleachers for shows and sales;
paving the show barn and adding
Northumberland/Montour Holstein Club
