Sherry Gregor, a recent graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, received the dairy princess crown from 1985 princess Lori Jamison. The daughter of Mrs. Donna Gregor, 5300 Senseman Road, Mechanicsburg, Sherry was an active member of FFA at Cum berland Valley before graduation and has qualified to participate in the PAFC summer institute at Penn State in July. Sherry enjoys gymnastics, swimming and dancing. She plans to be involved with this year’s display of “Old MacDonald’s Barnyard” at the New Carlisle Fair in August. Past princess Lori Jamison was escorted to the stage by her brother, Keith. She has just completed her first year with honors at Lock Haven University. Several area girls will help Sherry promote dairy products this year as junior dairy representatives. She lives with her family on a 184-acre Holstein dairy farm where they milk 42 cows. She has been a member of her school’s FFA chapter for two years and is currently serving as secretary. Karen’s promotional skit, a required part of the contest, in cluded a trip to the grocery store with her monkey, where they sampled dairy products but only ones with bananas! Ann Twentier and Virginia Dice were selected alternate princesses and will work closely with Karen in her promotional activities in the coming year. Ann, the 17-year-old daughter of Gerald and Susan Twentier, Portersville, will be a senior at EUwood City High School this fall. Virginia, the daughter of Charles and Darlene Dice of New Castle, will be a senior at Shenango High School in the fall. Master of ceremonies for the evening was J. Bradley Wise of Harmony. Wise is a dairy farmer and serves as the eastern regional manager of Pioneer Seed Com pany.
