Economical Platform Scale Weighs To 120,000 lbs.
FORT ATKINSON, Wise. -
Recognizing the need for a plat
form scale system that provides
precision weighing at a low cost,
Butler Scale Systems has in
troduced a custom platform scale
system with a maximum
dimension of 10x30 feet.
With this system, operators can
make effective use of trucks by
consistently hauling at or near
capacity, without underhauling,
and monitor load placements and
weights at the time of shipment.
Scale owners can also verify the
weight of bulk commodities at
purchase.
The system consists of four 2.50
universal “floating” mounts which
will handle capacities up to 60,000
pounds net (excludes deck); four
2.50 differential weigh beams with
a capacity of 15,000 pounds net per
cell; a choice of microprocessor
controlled indicators; and a
detailed bill of recommended
materials, drawings and in
stallation instructions for both a
steel and wood deck. Deck
materials and installation are
supplied by Butler dealers or
provided locally.
An optional duplicating kn
allows for the installation of two
platforms end to end for up to a
10’x60’ weighing surface with up to
120,000 pounds of capacity,
