She received her crown from outgoing princess Joyce Ruppert, * during coronation ceremonies held May 31 at the 4-H Center. *> % f f L' 1 Deborah Kann is York County’s 1986 dairy princess. Pebonh Kann Is Crowned York County Poky Princess Twenty-year-old Deborah is the daughter of Diana Kann and Bruce Taylor of Manchester. The family farm includes a milking herd of 55 Holsteins and 250 acres cropped. Deborah is a 1985 graduate of York College, and a respiratory therapist at the York Hospital. In 1983-84, she served as the county’s alternate dairy princess, and attended the Pennsylvania Farmers Association’s Youth Conference. While a student at Northeastern High School, she was a member of the National Honor Society, marching and concert bands, drama club, senior class play and musicals. In appreciation for her activities as the 1985 princess, Joyce Rup pert received a standing ovation from the audience of dairy farm and industry representatives. During her reign she made more than 80 appearances, including presentations to over 1,000 school children.
