Grange Toy Contest Offers Top Prizes
CENTRE HALL - This year’s
Annual National Grange Stuffed
Toy Contest, sponsored locally by
Progress Grange No. 96, offers
hundreds of dollars worth of prizes
in U.S. Savings Bonds and mer
chandise. The contest is open to
members and non-members of the
Grange.
Entry blanks are available by
contacting Mrs. Lucille Dashem of
Centre Hall, Women’s Activities
Chairman of Progress No. 96. The
contest closes July 25, 1986 at
Progress Grange. Entries will be
taken to Pomona Meeting Aug. 2

of “Wondering what was going on
down there along the river”.
The tracts of land consisting of
about 80 percent highly productive
Class I, II and HI soils are located
between Washington Boro and
Cresswell in an area of very
productive farm land near the

throughout the country. Ronald
Houses are family living facilities
located near major medical
centers where children with
serious illnesses are treated. About
20 stuffed toys were given to the
County Child Welfare Office in
Bellefonte.
Last year’s local place winner
was Mary Brought, Centre Hall, of
the Progress Grange No. 96.
The contest offers division for
children, teens, and adults. Anyone
can enter.
