.LITITZ Following a most
successful 111th National Ayrshire
Convention, hosted at Grantville in
April, the Pennsylvania Ayrshire
Association is gearing up for their
summer activities.
On July 19, their Annual Field
Day will be held at the Paul
Kemerer and son farm in Latrobe.
The Pennsylvania Elite Ayrshire
Sale will be held on September 23
in conjunction with the All-
American Dairy Show.
Officers for the Association are:
John Ocker, Shippensburg,
president; Jerry Myers,
Doylestown, vice-president; and
Milt Brubaker, Lititz, secretary
treasurer.
Officers for the Pennsylvania Guernsey Breeder's
Association are: from left, William Cannon, vice-president;

Pennsylvania Guernsey Breeders 9 Assoc-
WAYNESBORO This year the
Pennsylvania Guernsey youth,
once again, will have their milk
shake booth at Ag Progress Days,
August 19 to 24. The booth is the
primary fund raiser for the youths.
The 335th Special Guernsey
Consignment Sale, sponsored by
the State Association, will take
place at the Guernsey Pavilion,
Lancaster, on August 14.
In 1987 the National Guernsey
Lancaster County Holstein Club
LANCASTER Lancaster
County Holstein Gub is finalizing
plans for their summer activities,
a field day, county show and milk
promotions.
The 1986 Board of Directors
includes: Rick Hess, president;
John Howard, vice-president;
Loren Zimmerman, secretary;
and Don Risser, treasurer. Also on
the Board is John Brubaker, Roger
Mills, Paul Welk, L. Lamar Wit
mer, and Harold Shellenberger.
