University of Delaware Honors Outstanding Ag Students NEWARK, Del. - A number of agriculture students were recognized during recent Honors Day ceremonies at the University of Delaware. Students were honored both for their con tributions to the' College of Agricultural Sciences and the campus community as a whole. Joining the university’s 1986 panel of distinguished seniors was animal science major Elizabeth A. Chabora (Paramus, N.J.). The panel is comprised of one student with outstanding academic and personal qualities from each college. The annual Alpha Zeta prize went to Andrea L. Witbeck (Phoenixville, Pa.), another animal science major, as the highest ranking sophomore in the college. U of D plant science majors Mark Starrett (left) of Trenton, NJ. and Karen Schilke of Baltimore received scholarships from the Delaware-Maryland Plant Food and Crop Protection Association, Inc. Starrett (Trenton, N.J.) received the Honors Day book award, which goes to one out standing sophomore or junior in each college. Starrett, a junior, has a joint entomology/plant pathology major.
