TCiis mammoth sandwich is part
of the Lancaster County Dairy
Promotion Committee’s plans for
touting dairy products during June
Dairy Month. To commemorate
the 50th anniversary of Dairy
Nolt Completes
David L. Nolt, 57 Harristown
Rd., Paradise, PA 17562, has
successfully completed the basic
course in auctioneering offered by
the Mendenhall School of Auc
tioneering in High Point, North
Carolina, and has been awarded a
diploma.
The program is designed to
educate and train people in
terested in auctioneering to
become successful auctioneers.
Included are courses in real estate,
livestock, automobiles, antiques,
business liquidations, auction
galleries, construction and farm
equipment, clerking, cashiering.

On Wednesday, PM Magazine
hosts Nancy Byrne and Doug Allen
helped the committee with its
promotion plans by filming a
mock-up of the sandwich
preparation at Stauffer’s of Kissel
Hill in lititz. The PM Magazine
program to air June 2 at 7:30 p.m.
on Channel 8 will feature Lan
caster County dairy princess
Auction Course
advertising, tobacco, law, bid
calling, and more. The faculty
includes 18 nationally recognized
auctioneers and business leaders.
Four classes, each lasting two
weeks, are conducted each year.
Each class consists of over 100
hours of professional training.
Auctions are conducted where the
public is invited and the students
do the actual auctioneering.
Nolt was one of 51 students from
all across America, who suc
cessfully completed the 100 hour -
two week course in Basic Auc
tioneering at the Mendenhall
School of Auctioneering, High
Point, North Carolina.
