The High-Yield Line Feeds are formulated to provide the high producing cow with a maximum nutrient
dense dairy ration. These high energy feeds can help your cows reach their maximum productive and
reproductive potential by supplying much needed energy during stressful performance periods. High-Yield
feeds contain the following special ingredients:
Fat is added to increase the density and energy of these
feeds. One pound of fat yields 2.3 mega calories of energy
as compared with shell com which has .80 mega calories
per pound. Fat is mostly non-rumen degradable and is,
therefore, a source of by-pass energy.
Buffers are added to help prevent milk fat depression,
reduced milk production, digestive disturbances, or other
symptoms of mild or chronic acidosis.
