These sales were from Oregon to Oklahoma to Vermont. The top prices at the sales ranged from $42,000 to $702. Here is a brief look at the results of these sales. AYRSHIRES The 18TH EMPIRE STATE SPRING SALE held in New York averaged $702.46 on 59 head. A bred heifer sired by Star Man topped the sale with the price of $1,425. Second in the bidding was a first calf heifer by Bozo, selling for $1,225. The six cows averaged $837.50 and the 10, first calf heifers averaged $843. Tom Whittaker was the auctioneer. JERSEY The NEW ENGLAND JERSEY SPRING SALE averaged $1,550 on 42 head. A 3-year-old sired by Milestone Generator topped this sale with a price of $4,100.
