The Troy store, like Eastern’s
existing three stores, will sell bulk

The Troy store is the latest ex

Products Division, which currently
consists of a warehouse/dairy
store complex in Canton, PA, retail
stores located in Wellsboro, Pa.
and Newark, N.Y., and a truck
distribution system covering an
eleven state area. The Dairy
Products Division was started just
seven years ago as a simple
“products-to-proiducers” program
offering two items to Eastern
members. Under the management
of Thad Woodward, the operation
has expanded to offer over 120
products, achieving over $6.4
million in gross sales in fiscal 1984-
85.
“Eastern’s long-range plana call
for the periodic opening of retail
stores in strategic locations to
serve our membership and the
public,” said Earl R. Forwood,
President of Eastern Milk
Producers. “The Troy store is just
another step towards fulfilling
those plans.”
