page booklet which describes how
logging operations can be planned
to minimize long-term disturbance
to your land is available, free of
charge, by sending a stamped,
self-addressed envelope to; The
Pennsylvania Forestry

Another outstanding information
source for landowners is the fM
Woodland Owner's Handbook, a hand
some, 5-ring binder featuring the
Timber HarvttOng GuMefines booklet,
plus 30 other publications from The
Cooperative Extension Service,

Forestry and others.

sections ftrest ecology, forest
