AA-Lmcpstar Fannins, Saturday, April 26,1986 Delmarva Poultry Thursday, April 24,1986 Market Comment: Movement of ready to cook whole birds was moderate to moderately good and clearances were particularly maintained on the three pound and lighter sizes. Demand for cutlets continued to keep supplies well cleared. Retail interest on rib-on breast was declining. However, the overall call for breast meat was good. Demand for legs and par ticularly leg quarters improved in some plants, while others con tinued to discount in an effort to stimulate movement. Wings remained ample and difficult to clear. Less than trucklot asking prices were unchanged at 52-80 cents. Live supplies were moderate. Weights were mostly desirable to heavier than desired. Slaughter schedules were moderate. The undertone was steady. Estimated slaughter of broiler fryers in Delmarva: Estimates 4/24,1,975,000; Actual 4/171,823,000. Actual 4/221,900,000. Average Weights 4/22 4.50, 4/15 4.43.
