Report Supplied by USDA
Slaughter steers and heifer
prices ranged 1.00-1.50 lower for
the week with a delcine coming
mainly on thoroughly liberal
Monday & Tuesday receipts. Some
stabalization was noted in Wed
nesday’s trade under an improved
buyer demand. The $3 drop in
dressed carcass realization proves
to be a leading factor in the week’s
decline. Overall finish continued
fairly attractive although steers
scaling 1275 to 1350 lb. stUl present
in increased numbers and these
findings a narrower outlet. SI.

FACT
PROWL® attacks weeds through the
root and shoot for 2-way
protection in conservation tillage.
PROWL/ herbicide is the one to use in conservation till
age. Its more photostable, less volatile and less water soluble
than some other herbicides. So PROWL stays put, to attack
grasses and broadleaf weeds
in the root and shoot all
season long. PROWL gets
the weeds other herbicides
can miss in surface residue
without increasing the rate. So for
excellent control of 20 grasses and
broadleaf weeds, we recommend
