University of Delaware
Cooperative Extension Service has
published a series of pest
management fact sheets to help
farmers make insect control
decisions. The publications were
written by extension pest
management specialist Joanne
Whalen and extension en
tomologist Mark Graustein.
Each fact sheet describes the
insect and its life cycle or
behavior, tells how to scout for it,
and when and how to control it.
Where appropriate, specific
pesticide recommendations are
