every Monday. Your hogs will be weighed and
paid for immediately.
• We will also accept your sows & boars.
• Your cattle will be received from 12:30 to 5 P.M.
We will either pay you for your cattle immediately
or you may sell them dressed weight.
• There will not be a commission or yardage fee
deducted from your check.
• You may call our office Monday morning and we
will be able to tell you the base price for hogs for
the day.

Slaughter steers and heifer
prices advanced I.SO-2.50 over last
weeks closing levels. Good buyer
demand, prompted by a stronger
dressed traded and higher prices
for cattle from direct points were
the dominant factors for this
week’s advance. Warm weather
and spring breezes combining to
dry feedlot pens and mud not as
much af a problem as in recent
weeks. Slaughter cows 3.00-4.00
lower. Slaughter Bulls steady.
Estimated 4 day receipts this
holiday shortened week 6,300
compared to actuals last week of
5,152 and last year of 6,262.
Slaughter Steers accounted for 50
percent of receipts, Slaughter
Heifers 38 percent. Slaughter Cows
9 percent, Feeder Cattle 1 percent.
SLAUGHTER STEERS: Choice
