Berks Agri-Women honor Ag Boy baby

Day last week by promoting
agriculture to new mothers., Ag
Day, nationally recognized as
March 21, the first day of spring,
was chosen by the local Agri-
Women as the occasion to give a
wealth of farm products to a' new
arrival in one of the local hospitals.,
Slated as the first promotional
activity of the year by the Berks

Medical Center, Reading, was the
birthplace of this year’s winner of
the wicker clothes basket over
flowing with Berks County’s farm
products. Kyle Louis Schmehl,
born at 12:16 a.m. on Ag Day and
weighing in at 9 pounds 2Vi ounces
won the farm bounty for his
parents, Warren and Wannita
