    York Adams Calfarama Sale topped Bell daughter at $1,400

YORK - A November daughter
of Air-Osa Oak Quick Shot topped
the Adams-York Calfarama sale,
held recently at the York
Fairgrounds.
Kit-Way Quick Shot Lady
commanded the winning bid of
$1,400, selling to Maryland
Holstein breeder Marlin Hoff' of
New Windsor. She was bred and
consigned by Wayne and Susan
Top seller at the Adams-York Calfarama Sale was Kit-Way
Quick Shot Lady, purchased by Marlin Hoff for $1,400. With
the sale topper from left are sale manager Dennis Remsburg,
consignors Susan and Wayne Reedere, and leadsman Billy Jo
Heath.

Huntingdon Holstein Club
honors youth, veterans

ALEXANDRIA Honors went
to industry veterans as well as
junior members as the Huntingdon
County Holstein Club gathered
recently for its annual meeting.
Kermit Laney, owner of Laney’s
Feed Mill for 50 years, was
honored for his outstanding con
tributions to agriculture. A
member of the board of Penn
Central Bank, he has also served
on the Huntingdon County Fair
Board, holding the office of
president for the last 22 years.
Top production awards went to
Edwin Steach, whose herd was
best in the county for both milk and
fat, with 22,331 pounds of
production and 806 pounds of fat.

4-year-olds; Terry Branstetter; 5-
