New Idea’s Disc Mowers are
available in three models; Model
526 (5’6” cutting width), Model 527
(6’B” cutting width), and Model 528
(7’10” cutting width). Each model
is equipped with a hydraulic
cylinder for easy positioning of the
cutterbar to the transport and
operating modes.
All Disc Mower models will
accomodate both Category I and II
tractors and feature a massive
frame for the rugged durability
needed with high speed per
formance. V-banded power belts
provide a long service life and are
fully enclosed for protection.
New Idea’s Disc Mowers also
feature a PTO with an overrunning
clutch as standard equipment. The
520 Series Disc Mowers have been
designed with a breakway feature
to protect the unit from damage
when hitting rocks or other ob
structions while mowing.
