William DOYLESTOWN - A-Day, Delaware Valley College’s two-day annual open house, will be held rain or shine Saturday and Sunday, Arpil 26 and 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to this agricultural and science exposition is free. The New Britain Township campus attracts thousands of visitors each spring to the popular central Bucks County college fair. There are activities and displays for every member of the family, presented under the huge, old trees or on the broad stretches of lawn at the 90-year-old college. In addition, a country fair at mosphere prevails for the weekend. Visitors can enjoy old fashioned contests in log-sawing, canoe-jousting on Lake Archer, pie-eating and a milking com petition. Wolff received the Agriculture Award from Izaak Walton League for his efforts to reduce runoff from agricultural land in the Chesapeake Bay drainage basin. In Nashville, earlier this year, Wolff was honored by the National Association of Conservation District Directors with a Special Recognition Award to recognize his outstanding contributions to conservation programs, specifically his efforts in the Chesapeake Bay cleanup. He represented the Commonwealth on the Citizens Advisory Committee to the Chesapeake Bay Executive Council and was recently ap pointed as one of seven Penn sylvania representatives to the Chesapeake Bay Commission.
