The 18th Annual Spring Sale for the benefit of the Gor donville Fire Co. and Ambulance Association was held March 8 ten miles east of Lancaster, Pa. on Route 30 on Old Leacock Road. There were 2300 registered bidders at the sale. The gross sales were $360,000 and there were 40 auctioneers present to offer their services. There were ap proximately 8000 people on the grounds and the ladies received $12,000 for food consumed. The top quilt sold for $lOOO and contained state birds and flowers.
