MILWAUKEE, WI - Deutz-Allis
recently announced two new row
crop tractors in their 6200 series
line. The model 6265 comes in with
65 PTO hp and inside the model
6275 rests a 73 PTO hp unit. Both
are available in 2-wheel or all
wheel drive models. This now
makes five tractors in the 6200
series, according to Frank Kaplan,
marketing manager.
“These new models are powered
with fuel-efficient, direct air
cooled diesel engines that are so
precision built they don’t require
head gaskets. These 4-cylinder
engines have impressive power
reserve, low maintenance
requirements, long life and proven
economic payoff,” said Kaplan.
“The power is put to work via a
multi-range mechanical tran
smission with 12 forward speeds
and 4 reserve speeds. All gears are
synchronized in each range.”
Both models offer Transfermatic
hydraulic systems of open center
design with tandem engine
mounted, gear-driven pumps. A
category 11, three-point hitch with
linkage stabilizers is standard
