ALLENTOWN - Members of
Lehigh County’s 4-H beef, sheep
and swine clubs were honored on
Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Ger
mansville Fire Hall. Following a
beef and ham dinner, ap
proximately 50 commercial and
private sponsors presented
trophies to 4-H’ers in recognition of
their successes in the show ring, in
leadership, and in livestock
selection and management.
A special presentation was made
to Mrs. John Fretz in memory of
her husband, who served as a 4-H
Beef Club leader for 20 years. The
final activity of the evening was
square dancing to the music of the
Majesties.
