Westmoreland County John Wayne Wilkinson _ John Wayne Wilkinson, 19, of Armbrust, has been a member of the Central Westmoreland FFA Chapter for three years. He is a graduate of Hempfield Area Senior High School. John holds the Greenhand and Chapter Farmer degrees. He was selected Star Greenhand. He served his chapter as sentinel and treasurer and competed in the state Wildlife Contest. In addition, he competed in the chapter Welding, Cold Metal, and Tractor Pulling Contests. John was chairman of the Citrus, Greenhouse and Candy Com mittees. He was a member of the Initiation and Tool Panel Com mittees. Richard’s achievements in the FFA include Outstanding Greenhand, proficiency awards in swine finishing and diversified livestock production and 1984 York County Star Farmer. He was president of the Dover Chapter for 1984-85 and won the county Agronomy Contest in 1984. Richard plans to continue working for Rineway Dairy Farm after graduation.
