Wesley is a member of the Norlebco Dairy dub, the county Junior Holstein dub and serves as southeastern director for the Pennsylvania Ayrshire Breeders. His hobbies include showing dairy cattle, auto body restoration and mechanics. His future plans involve working in partnership with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Harding, on the family’s dairy farm. Michael Kunkle Michael Kunkle, of Jonestown, is the son of Miriam and the late Arthur Kunkle, and a student at Northern Lebanon High School. With five years of FFA ex perience, Michael has worked with dairy calves and heifers and has served on the Food for American Communities Program, and the Banquet, Greenhouse and Citrus Committees. The recipient of the 1985 Out standing Career in Vocational Agriculture Award, Michael has also earned his Greenhand and Chapter Farmer Degrees. He has been a member of the Parliamentary Procedure Team for four years, including the state’s second-place team for 1982. On the county level he has taken top honors in the Project Book and Extemporaneous Public Speaking Contests. Michael is president of the the Norlebco 4-H Dairy Club, as well as a member of the county’s Junior Holstein Club. In 1984 he was voted Outstanding Junior Member of the Pennsylvania Brown Swiss Association. Michael enjoys showing dairy cattle and hopes to eventually own a herd of Holstein and Brown Swiss cows. Mark William Long As a four-year member of the Northern Lebanon FFA, Mark Long has developed a swine herd of three sows and 11 gilts. The son of Gerald and Judy Long of Annville, Mark has served as chairman of the Public Relations, Greenhouse, Movie and Bulb Committees. He has served as a delegate to the state convention, and attended the national convention in 1983 and 1965. During his five years in AnnviUe-Cleona’s Little Dutchmen FFA Chapter, he logged many hours of Directed Laboratory Experience and served on the Banquet and Awards Committees. He also enjoys hunting and snowmobiling. Eric Sweinhart The son of Harold and Pearl Sweinhart, Eric is a student at Northern Lebanon High School, with five years of FFA experience. His FFA projects have included dairy heifers, cows, rabbits, vegetables, strawberries and rye. Eric has earned the Greenhand and Chapter Farmer Degrees and served as student advisor for four years. He was named Master Showman at the 1985 District Show and has earned first-place honors for his Project Book. A National Honor Society member, Eric is listed in Who’s Who Among American High School Students and was chosen Student of the Month. Tammy Weaker The daughter of Ernie and Karen Weaker of Lebanon, Tammy Weaker attends Palmyra High School and Lebanon County Vo- Tech, where she has been an FFA member for more than three years. Her projects have included swine showing and fitting, as well as vegetable and flower gardening. A two-term chapter president, Tammy has served as secretary at the county level and was a delegate to FFA Week.
