She attended the National Convention and was a member of the Citrus Committee. During her four years of FFA membership, Jamie was chairman of the Bulb and Citrus Committees, and received a bronze award for a heifer book and a silver award on a heifer book. Jamie enjoys playing soccer and would like to work in a greenhouse. Gina Hall Gina Hall, the seventeen-year old daughter of Henry and Anna Hall Jr., Hopewell, has been a member of the Northern Bedford FFA Chapter for four years. A student at Northern Bedford County High School, Gina has taken projects in dairy cows, dairy calves, swine finishing, com, haylage, and com silage. She served on the Program of Work, Livestock, Dairy, Seed and Citrus Committees. Gina has served her chapter as repeater and has received the Greenhand and Chapter Fanner Awards. She has also received proficiency awards for crop and swine production. In her free time, Gina enjoys reading, running and playing soccer. In the future, she .would like to form a partnership with her brother and farm. Ross Hershberger Ross Hershberger, 17, is the son of Charles and Dolores Her shberger, Martinsburg. A student at Northern Bedford High School, Roes has been in FFA for four years. He has taken projects in dairy cows and heifers, com and alfalfa. Ross has also served on the Program of Work and Dairy Judging Committees. In 1965, Ross was a member of the first place dairy judging team at the All-American Dairy Judging Forum; he placed eighth in dividually. He placed first in the county and district Creed Speaking Contest and third in the regional contest. Ross was a distinguished junior member of the Pennsylvania Holstein Association in 1962. Ross would like to attend Penn State to major in dairy science. Daniel’s hobbies include hun ting, fishing and basketball. His future plans include college and fanning. Lincoln Ritchey Lincoln Ritchey, 17, is the son of Herb and Joan Ritchey, Woodbury. A member of the Northern Bedford FFA Chapter for four years, Lincoln has completed projects in cows, calves and heifers and com silage. He has served on the Dairy Judging and Tractor Driving Committees. Lincoln has served his chapter as president and vice president, and was chairman of the Dairy Committee. He earned the Greenhand and Chapter Farmer degrees. In the future, Lincoln plans to take over the family farm a few years after school. Berks County Scott Bohn Scott Bohn is the 16-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick J. Bohn, Myerstown. He has been a member of the Tulpehocken FFA Chapter for four years and has completed projects in dairy cow, heifer and calf, and work ex perience. He has participated in BOAC, Food for America, the Farm Safety Program and the county banquet. Scott has served his chapter as chaplain and earned the Greenhand, Chapter and County degrees. A member of the Tulpehocken Young Farmers, Scott plans to work at a small gasoline engine shop and mi his father’s dairy farm. Chlrstopher J. Britton Christopher J. Britton, 18, is the son of David and Joyce Britton, Boyertown. A member of the Oley Valley FFA Chapter for five years, Christopher has completed the Christmas tree project. Christopher has served his chapter as chaplain and treasurer and has earned the Berks County degree. In addition, he won at the State FFA Dairy Showmanship Contest and received a bronze medal at the State FFA Forestry Contest. Christopher received a first place in the Berks County Project Record Bock Contest and attended the PEEC Leadership Conference in 1984 and the Creed Speaking Contest in 1982. In the future, Christopher plans to attend Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture to major in business. Later, he plans to pursue a career in agribusiness. Scott Burnett Scott Burnett, the 17-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Burnett, Honey Brook, has been a member of the Twin Valley FFA Chapter for four years. A student at Twin Valley High School, Scott has worked for his father in the family’s small and marine engine repair shop. He has worked with the Conservation Committee, planting trees for the Game Commission, and helped with the Ag Day Breakfast. He also had BOAC projects. Scott has won the area Small Engines Contest and placed in the state contest. He has also won the county forestry and wildlife contests as well as awards for his project books. He attended the Blue Mountain Cooperative Institute and PAFC. Scott is a member of the Frontier Archery Club and the Chestnut Hill Archery Club. In the future, Scott plans to continue working with engines and become a partner in the family shop. Kevin M. Gnldln Kevin M. Guldin, 17, is the son of Vivian R. Guldin, Boyertown. During his FFA career, Kevin has completed projects in beef finishing and laying hens. He has served his chapter as sentinel and earned a gold medal in the State Land Judging Contest. In addition, he placed first in the county Ag Mechanics Contest and won a chapter proficiency award in Ag Mechanics. A Boy Scout of the Life rank, Kevin plans to attend college and major in animal husbandry. Ray Hepner Ray Hepner is the 18-year-old son of Clyde and Doris Hepner, Shoemakersville. Ray has been a member of the Hamburg Area FFA Chapter and has completed projects in beef steer, market hogs and heavy construction equipment operation. He has served his chapter as sentinel and vice president. In addition, he was chapter coor dinator for the 1964 County Leadership Conference and was chairman of both the Leadership and Banquet Ticket Committees.
