Thank you for holding your tobacco
until the first auction. This shows us
that you are interested in the auction
and you will support it when it works
on December 16.
It took Maryland 10 years to produce a
successful auction, with your support
we can hopefully do it in less years. We
have spent a lot of time and money so
far and we will extend more of both
and do all we can to provide a suc
cessful alternative Tobacco Marketing

Tobacco officials say that the Burley
Tobacco Supply is about 25% short.
We are sure that that will better our
tobacco market. So don’t sell your
tobacco until you see what the market
price is at auction.
How many farmers would have already
sold their tobacco for much less than
the currently offered prices if they
wouldn’t be watching for auction to
begin? Prices have already started
moving in the upward direction. Our
auctioneer, Mitchell Ashby, would like
to have these fellows together under
one roof.
