The buyer, Danny George of George’s Foodliner, Bethlehem, paid $3.20 per pound. Todd Bennecoff, Lehigh County, showed the Reserve Grand Champion steer weighing 1130 pounds and was sold for $1.55 per pound. The buyer was Baum’s Meat Packaging, Hatfield. The Champion light Weight steer weighing 1106 pounds sold for $1.20 per pound and was bought by Danny George of George’s Foodliner. The steer was exhibited by Rhonda Hartman, Lehigh County. Lori Rabenold, Lehigh County, showed the Reserve Champion Light Weight steer, weighing 1000 pounds and was purchased by Agway Inc., Allentown for $.78 per pound. The Champion Heavy Weight steer weighing 1550 pounds sold for $l.OO per pound and was bought by Danny George of George’s Foodliner. The steer was exhibited by Debra Krause, Lehigh County. Daniel Berghold, Northampton County, showed the Reserve Heavy Weight Champion steer, weighing 1350 pounds and was purchased by Danny George for $.Bl per pound. The Grand Champion individual lamb, weighing 116 pounds was sold at $5.00 per pound to Danny George. It was owned by Jessica Keiffer, Northampton County. The Grand Champion Pair of Lambs, exhibited by Jacquelyn Miller, Northampton County, was pur chased by Berks-Lehigh Farm Credit Service, Fogelsville. The Pair of Lambs v lighed 225 pounds and was sold at $1.50 per pound. Bill Scott, Bucks County, showed the Reserve Grand Champion lamb and was sold to Barringer Superhopper Got Grain? The Reserve Medium Weight Champion Lamb, weighing 111 pounds was sold at $1.06 per pound to Berks-Lehigh Farm Credit Service. It was owned by Scott Lazarus, Lehigh County. The Reserve Heavy Weight Champion Lamb, weighing 119 pounds was sold for $.96 per pound to Danny George. It was owned by Benjamin Lazarus, Lehigh County. The sale, as was the show, was conducted by the Agricultural Extension Service, with the County Agents of the six counties in charge. The auctioneers were Peter Krall and Ralph Zet tlemoyer.
