Market Comment; Movement on
ready to cook whole birds was good
but showed a general slackening
compared to earlier. Most plants
noted little difficulty keeping
stocks cleared. Demand for parts
was mixed and most active on leg
quarters. Breasts were a bit more
available in some quarters. Live
supplies were adequate overall.
Weights continued mixed but were
mostly— desirable. Slaughter
schedules were moderately heavy.
The undertone was fully steady.
Today’s L.T.L. asking prices
were 1 cent higher on U.S. Grade A
at 52-59 cents.

Some receipts of broiler fryers
