County 4-H goat clubs met at
Kimberton Fair Grounds recently
for their annual roundup. Animals
from all five common breeds of
dairy goats were exhibited.
Judge Bernard Juroski gave
grand champion honors to Sue
Miller of the Che-Del-Be Goat Club
with her 4-year-old milking goat.
Reserve grand champion honors
went to Betsy Aronson of the New
London Goat Club with her 2-year
old milking goat.
Junior champion honors went to
Noel Scheib, of Phoemxville, with
her junior doe kid. Reserve junior
champion honors went to Janet
Hepp with her yearling doe.
A showing and fitting contest
was also a part of the afternoon’s
activities. Grand champion fitter
honors went to Maria Seber of the
Che-Del-Be Club. Reserve grand
champion fitter honors went to
safe, secure and loving environment. You

also works with handicapped youth
at the Easter Seal Society in plant
culture and crafts and with the 4-H
club at the Hamburg State
Hospital.
