During our vacation this year,
we made a trip home to see how
everything was going on our dairy
farm and also to attend a meeting.
After all, we do have a lot invested
in our 90 head of dairy animals.
We stopped at a fast food
restaurant for our evening meal.
There on our table was a nice pair
of sunglasses. I picked them up
and turned them in to the
management. But when I returned
to our table, I had another thought.
The person who owned them might
be miles away before he or she
discovered their loss. So I asked
people around me if they could
identify the persons who were
previously at the table. Finally,
someone said, “The woman had a
bandage on her hand.” So, I asked
for the glasses again and dashed
out into the parking area. There I
saw a lady dabbing at a spilled
drink in her car and her hand

someone to use the surplus from
my garden. I put some sweet corn,
cucumbers, cabbage, tomatoes
and red raspberries in a bag for
them. Garden things keep growing
even if you’re not there to tend
them.
