Increased supplies of live cattle
and further declining wholesale
beef prices are attributed to the
decline in live prices. Cows
generally steady in light supply.
Bulls steady to firm. Supply
mainly good to average choice
slaughter steers and heifers with
5% cows. Receipts this week about
2200, compared with 1839 last week
and 1835 a year ago.
