University of Delaware plant science major Maria Sadusky,
Wilmington has received the Outstanding Senior Student
award from the Northeastern Branch of the American Society
of Agronomy. Sadusky earned a degree with distinction this
June for basic research on the chemical behavior of
potassium on Delaware soils.
Flying Farmers to meet
The Pennsylvania Flying
Farmers will hold their monthly
meeting at Rover airport on June
23. Rover airport is located on the
farm of Robert and Verna
Sollenberger. Rover is located
three miles south of Millard air
port and two and one-half miles
east of Reigle’s airport. If you are
driving, you can find me Sollen
berger farm between Fontana and
Campbelltown on Route 322.
The meeting will begin at 1 p.m.
Lunch will be a covered dish. After
a business meeting, spot landing
and message drop contests will
take place.
