SELMA, AL - Bush Hog’s new
round bale mover allows one
operator to safely and easily load
and unload up to four large bales of
hay.
Built low to the ground for easy
loading with a three-point mounted
bale spear, the mover’s standard
equipment includes center poles
that allow visual placement from
the tractor seat while they prevent
the bales from extending past the
center line. Remote pull ropes
allow the operator to unload the
bales one at a time.
After unloading, the cradles
pivot quickly back into place and
are held securely by automatic
spring-loaded latches located
below the frame to prevent hay
interference and accidental
release. Swing out brackets
provide extra support to keep the
bales on the mover when they are
carried lengthwise and heavy duty
fenders hold the hay safely away
from the tires.
Other standard equipment in
cludes a jackstand, safety chain
and stake pockets. The mover
converts to a handy off-road trailer
by simply removing two pins on
the bale cradles. Plywood flooring
(not provided) and optional steel
side rails complete the conversion
to a utility trailer ideal for chores
Snake venom is not only being

to make anti-coagulents that can
dissolve blood clots. It’s even
proving effective in treating
coronary heart failures where a
clot is blocking the arteries that
supply blood.

Hardi sprayer demonstration
About 50 orchard growers attended a Hardi sprayer
demonstration at Cherry Hill Orchard sponsored by ABC
Groff, Inc., New Holland. Hardi product manager for North
America, Sten Kjelstrup was on hand to demonstrate the new
innovations on Hardi orchard sprayers. Kjelstrup. a long-time
associate with Hardi, has done an extensive research with
mist blowers in Europe.
