    Shooting Sports Workshop planned
NEWARK, Del. - A Shooting
Sports Workship is planned for
June 14,15 and 16 at Camp Barnes
and will feature archery, air rifle,
air pistol and shotgun. The
workshop is designed for volun
teers who are interested in
working with youth ages 9-19 in a 4-
H Shooting Sports program area
back in their town or community.
This workshop offers hands on
learning experiences and in-depth
training programs featuring
sessions in archery, air rifle, air
pistol and shotgun and safety
measures with youth, program
planning, coaching philosophy and

* Pa. Farm Museum prepares for craft days
LANCASTER - The twenty
ninth annual ‘Craft Days”
weekend will be held Saturday and
Sunday, June 1 and 2, from noon
until 5 p.m. at the Pennsylvania
Farm Museum of Valley.
“Craft Days” is an outdoor festival
featuring demonstrations of more
than fifty different crafts and ac
tivities associated with Penn
sylvania life from 1750 to 1900. At
Craft Days visitors will see how to
rope a bed, bake in an outdoor oven
trum of shooting sports and related
activities as leisure opportunities,
develop shooting knowledge and
skills, gain in-depth experiences in
individual specialized areas of
ihterest and become aware of
related career opportunities in the
industry.
The cost of this workshop is $2O
per participant which includes
food and lodging as well as
workshop material and handouts.
Each county will be looking for
three interested volunteers in each
of the four sports areas or a total of
twelve participants per county.
Responses are needed by May 30th
