Himself as a dairyman, Duncan ha served as former president of the Keystone Milk Marketing Council. He is also president of the Berks County Dairy Farmers Association. Thad Woodward of Canton, Bradford County, was selected as the vice-chairman. He is manager nf Eastern Milk Producers’ Dairy provisions of the Dairy and Tobacco Adjustment Act of 1983, which authorized the program. All dairy farmers who were engaged during April 1985 in the production of milk for commercial use will be eligible to vote. The Pennsylvania Dairy Promotion is a voluntary program funded by dairy producers and designed to increase consumption and marketing of Pennsylvania dairy products. Research Program is financed by a 15-cent per hundredweight assessment on all milk produced in the contiguous 46 states and marketed commercially by dairy farmers. The program is ad ministered by a board of 36 dairy farmers appointed by the secretary of agriculture wtih representation based on area milk production.
