triggered a similar response in live
cattle prices with Fed Steers and
Heifers ending the week 25-75 cents
lower. Futher inroads into the live
price structure were forestalled by
a buyer demand that easily
equaled the modest salable supply.
Overall finish continued ordinary
and mud an ongoing problem.
Cows 1.00-2.00 lower. Bulls fully
1.00 higher.
Estimated 5 day receipts 6750;
Actuals last week 7042 and a year
ago 9197. Steers comprised 38 pet
of the week’s receipts, Heifers 46
pet, Cows 13 pet, Feeders 2 pet.
