market is slow to fair, prices are
holding steady and supplies in
regular storage are declining
rapidly. Some C/A storages are
now open, others are planning to
open next week and many more
will open around the first week of
February.
This is Farm Show Week. We

lower at this week’s close, in
concert with a declining wholesale
beef trade. Modest salable num
bers kept the buyer demand
healthy; consenquently losses
were held to a minimum. Overall
finish continued ordinary and most
cattle carried some degree of mud.
Cows 2.003.00 lower. Bulls fully
steady.
