The market is continuing to be
fair with prices remaining steady.
Apple supplies throughout the
state are declining as many small
to medium sized growers are
finishing up. The strong side of the
domestic market appears to be in
traypacked apples while bagged
apples are selling slower.
The export market is continuing
to be strong with orders being
filled for Panama, Haiti, Trinidad,
Norway and Iceland. Prices are
holding firm in this market and
Red Delicious, Combination
graded, 113’s and larger selling for
$lO.OO and other varieties at $8.50-
9.00.
Domestic prices quoted are
wholesale, truckload, f.o.b. at the
orchard and packing house. ,
