previous week. Good buyer
demand continued with best in
terest still noted on those steers
and heifers promising higher
percentage choice. Slaughter cows
closed steady after experiencing
some strength Tuesday. Slaughter
bulls weak to 1.00 lower.
Estimated receipts this holiday
shortened week 6,700 compared to
actuals of 10,125 last week and
9,782 last year. Slaughter steers
comprised 47 pet of receipts,
slaughter heifers 35 pet, slaughter
cows 10 pet, feeder cattle 6 pet.
